I’ve been using the Cell Shock White Brightening Mask for the past few weeks. It’s a great pick-me-up gel-cream mask that gently exfoliates with glycolic acid and revitalizes my skin. After each use I could visibly see my pores looked minimized, smoother texture and my skin tone brightened. Super impressed after such a short time of using this. The consistency is a super light gel like cream that glides on smoothly. I applied it with a synthetic makeup brush. It says you may feel a tingling which I may have felt within the first two minutes of application but after that, I felt no tingling. It doesn’t dry down stiff like most masks which I liked. I kept it on for 15 min and rinsed it off. I loved the ease of application and the ease of rinse off. I was a little concerned with how much to use or how thick the layer should be. I didn’t find any direction on the recommended amount, so I kept it to a thin even layer. I really like this mask and don’t want to use more than what’s needed. I tried it on my boyfriend as well and he’s skin definitely looked bright and fresh after just one application. He also felt the slight tingling in the first few minutes. The mask has a lovely light citrus lemon scent to it that’s not over powering. If you have any unevenness in your skin tone, I would definitely recommend this mask for its instant effectiveness and over time its reduction of dark spots or redness.

The Cell Shock Brightening-Aura Mask when applied is cool to the touch and it has a very opalescent color to it changing its color just like a precious opal. I leave it on for about 15 minutes and then rinse it off with tepid water and dry my face. I notice that my skin looks and feels brighter as though all those pigments in the mask simply clarified my facial aura. My skin also felt moisturized and clean. My pores looked more refined as well. Ingredients like 5 % glycolic made my face feel smoother and clearer looking. My skin was brighter less red and irritated. Ingredients like Hexylresorcinol which is a good alternative to hydroquinone and also inhibit the process of melanogenesis (stimulation of pigment function) allowing my skin to look brighter.
